Glioblastoma multiforme
Jenny is a 29-year-old elementary school teacher. For the past 2 weeks she has been experiencing "really bad" headaches. She has a history of migraines but the medication she normally takes is "not helping at all". Yesterday Jenny had a hiccupping episode that lasted approximately 15 hours. After describing her symptoms to her husband they decided to head to the local emergency room. Subsequent imaging studies confirmed a diagnosis of Glioblastoma multiforme.
